Association Information
Association Activity : Miller Bearings’ President, Craig O. Faber, has been nominated by the Power Transmission Distributors Association to the position of Second Vice President. PTDA is the leading association for the industrial power transmission/motion control distribution channel. Headquartered in Chicago, the association will meet in Palm Desert, California in October to elect the next slate of officers and board of directors. Mr. Faber currently serves on the board of directors and serves as the board liaison for the Employee Development Committee.

Siemens has introduced two new, multi-featured soft starters and Miller Bearings has begun stocking the product throughout its network of branch locations. Introduced to inventories in March 2007, is the SIRIUS 3RW40 and the SIRIUS 3RW44. Both can be used in a variety of start-up applications including conveyor belts and hydraulic pumps. Importantly, the new 3RW40 is half the size of a comparable wye-delta starter. The new Siemens soft starter families have the full range of integrated protective functions.
